Sharon Hernes Silverman is the author of several hundred articles and seven books, including
Pennsylvania Snacks: A Guide to Food Factory Tours (2001), Daniel Boone Homestead: Pennsylvania Trail of History Guide (2000), and
Going Underground: Your Guide to Caves in the Mid-Atlantic (1991). For three years she wrote
“At the Inn,” a column for Maryland Magazine. Her Denver Post article about the island of Niihau won a
1992 Hawaii Visitors Bureau travel writing award. Silverman lives with her husband and two sons in West Chester, Pennsylvania. |
